"A Miracle?"
It happened on Memorial Day, which is celebrated commonly as
a 'remember the Veterans day'. But there was a perosn who laid down his life
much earlier for his people, and actually ALL people.
And the event that took place in my home seemed innocent enough. But I
will let you decide whether or not it means something miraculous happened.
It was near mid-morning when in the corner of my livingroom, where I have always
kept an easel, a certain painting was being lit up by the sun peeking through the
curtains. The light seemed to be hitting in just the right spot, because it was a manger scene
and the baby in the hay was lit up. And the only thing in the picture that was lit up was the
baby and the hay he is on. I did not set the picture there. It happened all on its own, and I
had the picture there for weeks.
This is what it looked like:

The fact is that this painting is made to show the light of the infant Christ shining
all around. Made perfect sense that the light was hitting where it did.
Now, about ten minutes later, on the west wall of my living room, the light began
shining on another picture.. This picture is across the room about twelve feet away.
The first picture I showed you was on the NORTH wall. Which was strange enough,
but it seemed to hit THAT picture in exactly the right place also.... (hair standing up on neck)
This particular picture is one I have blogged on before, and it is a picture of Christ
holding the 'Eucharist', which is a word for 'thanksgiving'. It is the bread that becomes
the actual "Body of Christ" during mass, which we partake of.
I couldn't believe the light was hitting this picture as perfectly as it did the other.
I took pictures of it as it was happening.
This is what it looked like:

As you can see, the light was hitting in a circular pattern almost directly over the "Eucharist".
The light in the lower left corner is from the lamp on my piano.
I didn't make the connection until later on that both places where the light was striking the picture
were BOTH the 'Body of Christ'. The same Christ who is known as "The Light that shines in the darkness."
MUCH to my surprise... the following weekend at church was none other than:
"The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ" a once a year celebration in the Catholic Church.
All I can say is WOW... and to me it was certainly a message. Whether or not it seems miraculous to you.
